We blew Bedlam today...

horrible start but should have won...

you ALWAYS foul when 3 up and the other team is coming down the court with under 10 seconds to play!

My son, who's watched very little basketball, said "shouldn't they just foul him with a 3 point lead?".

My observation. Trae is a great player, but it seems as if he's turning his teammates into spectators at times. It sure looked that way to me towards the end of the game. The last possession of the OT, the other guys on the floor looked like they were just watching and waiting for him to do something.

The last OT possession is a perfect example of why the Sooners are struggling recently...

...asking/letting Trae do to much. It's wearing on him it would appear.

Lon can get it figured out.

Young is both an asset and a liability. He took 48 shots yesterday and made 14 of them. He had 6 unforced turnovers. He dribbles into trouble and takes really stupid shots trying to draw fouls. It seem Kruger has no control over Young. When Young takes off fast to the offensive end on his own we can expect bad things to happen. When the ball is passed around and allow Young to free up then he hits his shots. Kruger needs to go back to basics. Passing and dribbling drills. OU simply cannot pass the ball well.

Back-to-Basics is Spot On, SS...Passing...Dribbling...TACKLING!

Feels like Westbrook and the Thunder...Krueger coaches an NBA style of offense. You could have inserted Harden and the Rockets and you'd be saying the same thing. It's all about one on one drive and score or get fouled or dish for the 3 ball. Unfortunately, except for the kid from Harrah no-one is a consistent long range shooter and when we do drive we can't finish.

Lot of standing around watching Trae. No movement allows defense to collapse and clog the lain. So Trae drives and there's nobody to dish to.

McNeace should be starting at C with Young. McGusty needs more minutes. He's the second best player on the roster.

No 3-second violation in college ball is one of the rules omissions that bugs me the most and makes college ball look so bad. I don't understand why college doesn't have this rule. According to Wikipedia, it was a college game in 1936 that brought about the rule, so at what point and why was the rule removed?

Where do you see that they don't have that rule? I'm pretty sure they do.

I don't think they do. I could be wrong, but I've never seen it called and I specifically watch for it, because it's such a peeve of mine. I see guys standing in the paint for 10+ seconds literally.

This Wikipedia article only mentions NBA and WNBA. I don't know if the omission of college is intentional or just because...
