Baker had great game against the hurricane, but in 2013 Bell replaced Knight for the Tulsa game. We were all wondering if he could really throw the ball. Stoops, quote we don't recruit guys who can't throw at OU. Bell went on to throw for 413 yds, in a 51-20 win. We believed we found our guy, but ended up being a average qb. He had a much better O line then Baker has, so I can't take the Tulsa game as a true indication of our O. The D scheme is horrible as usual. I believe we will find out starting Sat. if our O is really elite. Baker, had mediocre stats in the lst couple of games. Hopefully, he evens up having a great year, and stays healthy. The sad fact is we are going to have to put 45-50 on 6 of the other conference teams to win. Boomer Sooner !!!!! Any thoughts negative or positive, Thanks.
