VIDEO FIX FOR APP USERS

I heard back from our tech team and we did some testing. We figured out what was happening and why people weren't able to watch videos on the message board while in the app.

Go to your settings tab and at the bottom where it says Forums > Use 2.0 Forums

Go ahead and uncheck that button. If it's green, tap it until it is off.

Then it will ask you to log out and log back in. Once you do that, you'll be able to view videos again through the app.

They have already moved on to working on a new app that is going to be released at the first of the year. So they aren't going to spend anytime fixing this bug in this version of the app. But the next app will not have that problem now that we identified it.

Basically what clicking that button does is puts you back into a native browser instead of an embedded browser.

The embedded browser wasn't allowing vimeo to determine whether videos were able to be played on that URL. So turning off the Use 2.0 Forums button will allow our embedded videos to play in the app.
