Happy Saturday you beautiful little TWATS, and lick my gonads to the TLDR crowd 😂😂

Not sure why, but with the Xadavien Sims recruitment, the bedwetters and DERPS have come out in full force. So let's do a little Recruiting 101 lesson, because a lot of ppl on this board and other boards, aren't comprehending a few simple concepts. I apologize in advance, because I do realize 95% of the board understands these things. But unfortunately, the derps always bark the loudest, and apparently need this spelled out to them.

1. VERBAL commitments are NOT binding or final in any way. For instance, Sims could commit to Oregon today and still end up signing with OU or any other school. It's shocking that so many ppl on here act like a recruitment is over when a guy VERBALLY commits elsewhere. Do you guys not remember Peyton Bowen?? He was committed to ND for nearly a YEAR before switching to Oregon on ESD, and then signing with OU. Do you forget Kobie McKenzie who committed to OU, then decommitted and committed to Texas, only to still sign with OU?

Nick Evers and Jayden Gibson VERBALLY committed to Florida, and then signed with OU.

Ryan Broyles back in 2007 flipped between OU and OSU like 73 times.

VERBAL = non-binding

2. So many ppl aren't comprehending BVs "no visits to other schools if you commit to OU". The policy is VERY simple. If a kid commits to OU, BV doesn't want them visiting afterwards to another school. His philosophy is go on as many visits as you want, and enjoy them. Make sure you know that you know before you commit to OKLAHOMA. But if you commit to OU and take other visits, we don't consider your commitment truly a commitment so probably peace out (UNLESS a truly elite recruit like Stone, NWANERI, etc, then I believe BV will be a little more lenient).

And here is the BIG distinction that too many are confusing. If the kid commits to a non-OU school FIRST, then BVs policy DOESN'T APPLY. At that point, he doesn't care where or how many visits they take, and he'll still sign the kid if he likes them. So they can still take as many visits as they want after they commit, just as long as they aren't committed to OU.

So many ppl with this Sims commitment are saying things like "Well, guess Sims isn't coming here since he's taking an OV to Mich St after his commitment date". Well, if he committed to Oregon today, BV and Co may still pursue him and it's not breaking the policy because the kid hasn't committed to OU first. He simply doesn't want them wavering after they've committed to Oklahoma, but he don't give 2 SHITS if they're wavering after committing to another school.

I feel like a derp myself for spelling this out, but my goodness it's been just one dumb dumb after another here this week.

Sorry for the rant, but it's been bugging me.
