If Bob Stoops were to do the same thing, this thread would have a different tone.

I've got no problem with Meyer and I actually laughed when he fell to the ground in relief. He's a damned good coach and his record puts him in the stratosphere of the college coaching world. Yes, he's had some personal issues and recruited some guys who were "bad hombres" or did stupid things, but what major program does not have it's skeletons in the closet?
And as BillyRay said, had this been Stoops, this would be a much different conversation today.

Excellent! Urban and Nick are the best TODAY, yet they have much different coaching styles. Both are excellent, but I prefer Saban's and would gleefully take Meyer's.
He may as well bend over and shout "Thank you sir and may I have another ?" to Saban.

I saw Meyer do that when I was watching the game and thought nothing of it. Watching Harbaugh whine was priceless tho. Didn't he whine a lot as a player in the NFL too? I seem to remember him whining a lot back in the day too.

These guys are getting paid millions because they have, and are expected to produce. I would hope they could act like they've been there before...

Act like they've been there before? What does that have to do with getting emotional during a big play during such a tight game? Hell I would prefer Bob be emotionally wrapped up in a game it shows he cares enough about the outcome of the game.
I think it depends on whether he tries to "grab them by their..." or uses tongue...

There is a difference between getting emotionally wrapped up in a game versus acting like you just won the Miss America pageant which is what Meyer did...

So then where is the line drawn for you?? I've never heard of Bob falling on the ground like that, but I've certainly seen him run out on the field going crazy after his team just came through with a bigtime play. So does that mean at those times Bob wasn't acting like he's been there before??
Ohio State should fire Meyer. Falling like that takes away all of his credibility. I can see a line of OSU decommits in the very near future.
It will be interesting to see what he does when/if they win or lose their last game of the year; what if he decides he must take another sabbatical ?

It's the players fault for playing in such a tight game... Had they lost, maybe he would have fallen and not gotten back up...

Even you BillyRay can see the difference between Meyers actions and anything Stoops has done. Bob gets emotionally wrapped up in the game and celebrates or is angry/disappointed but doesn't fall down like the lady in the commercial who "can't get up..."
If you are fine with Meyers actions, more power to you...I hope he flops down many more times for you...

I see it for what it is....two different people expressing their emotions differently. I don't differentiate between the two depending on how much I like or dislike them as coaches. It really appears that is where you are basing your judgement here. You don't like Urban, so naturally you don't like or approve of his actions. You like Bob, so naturally you like and approve of his actions.
Or you could just delete it... Hillary knows how to do it...
