Spoke to Waxhaw (N.C.) Cuthbertson head coach David Johnson about the word of an injury to Oklahoma Rivals250 quarterback commitment Austin Kendall. For those that missed it in this week's 'Future Sooners' there was mention that he did not play in last week's game for Cuthbertson and didn't play in the second half of the preceding week.
Johnson says it's nothing serious and though Cuthbertson is off this week, his star signal caller will return to the field next week.
"We have a bye this week but he will play in two weeks," Johnson said.
So, after a few weeks out, it looks like things are about to get back on track for Kendall who is 69-104 for 1,030 yards, and 11 touchdowns.
