UPDATE: 2:31p - I'm told that Jase McClellan and his family will be hosting Nick Saban today/tonight.
ORIGINAL: Alright guys, had a fairly lengthy back and forth with Mia McClellan today and also had a chance to talk with some Alabama sources but we'll start with the conversation with Jase McClellan's mom.
First off, she confirmed that Jase will be signing next week and that he is 'committed to Oklahoma'. She also had something interesting to say about Lincoln Riley visiting them this morning and Jay Boulware showing up in the afternoon.
"Concerns were addressed today," she said.
Nothing about the conversation put the rumors to bed but there was also nothing alarming in what she said.
If you made me guess based on what she said, I'd guess he sticks but Alabama is making a run, there's zero doubt.
Speaking of the Crimson Tide I spoke with some folks around Tuscaloosa and I continue to get the feeling they are a bit surprised that it's becoming this interesting. What I will say is that Nick Saban will be visiting the McClellans this week - though I don't know an exact date yet.
It sounds like Alabama thinks they have a shot if the visit goes very well. But beyond that I don't pick up loads of optimism.
All in all, I think OU can hang on here but they are in a fight to be sure.
**Guys, I know we've lost some track of it but I thought I'd go back over the list of players expected to enroll early and I think it's safe to say this is the biggest number we've seen the Sooners reel in early so far. So here are the current prospects we're expecting to be early enrollees for the 2020 class.

Marvin Mims - WR - Frisco (Texas) Lone Star - RIVALS250
