They will do so again on Thursday ... Finals week in Norman.
* Tulsa World's Guerin Emig can confirm reserve CB Marcus Green is no longer w/ Sooners. Played sparingly this season as redshirt freshman.
* Want some young guys news? Ty Darlington says Lampkin reminds him physically of A'Shawn Robinson ... Also says Neville Gallimore is the best DL he's maybe ever played against.
* Baker Mayfield is talking that noise for Lakw Travis who plays Katy in a state final.
* Sterling Shepard says it's local Norman product Cade Parker that has impressed him the most.
* heaps of praise for Trevor Knight & his dedication/importance to the team. No distraction heading into semifinal.
* Riley was asked who will be the back-up vs. Clemson ... He smiled & said, 'Trevor & Cody'.
* I wasn't over there when Mayfield was asked about it, but he did throw some shade at Texas Tech and their refusal to give him a full release ...
"You pressure Texas Tech into signing off because it's about that time for them to realize it's quite ridiculous that they didn't pay for any of my school and they're able to take a year of my eligibility away," Mayfield said. "It's either up to them to get pressured and realize that's a big mistake or we can go through the Big 12 schools, which I don't think is going to work, just because they have to vote off on it. I don't believe that's the best way to go about it."
