Yea the media is slobbering all over the kid. There is no doubt the kid is very full of himself but I actually think he will do what he does every year and lose to a few teams he shouldn’t. Every time I see the media love fest for Ehlinger I become a bigger fan of LSU and hope they destroy him and his Horns.
I'm looking forward to the day when OU's defense can make an average quarterback....look like an average quarterback.

FYI.....It has been solely OU's lack of defense that has prevented two national championships from happening in 2017 and 2018.
Speaking of Ehlinger, don't remember the game, but watching the horns with my Horn S-I-L, the TV announcers clearly didn't know his name without help and one of them says "Effinger". That is now his official name around our place.

Who are his supporting cast...their high hopes poofede when Bru McCoy bolted. I would be willing to bet that Ehlinger presses so bad by mid season that his balky shoulder gives out...then what? If you saw their spring game you have to laugh.

Texas wins 10 games last year and all of a sudden the media gets in line to kiss Texas ass and proclaim they are back. Ehlinger in my opinion is a tough kid but nothing about him screams Heisman. He is much like the medias new loved coach ( Herman ) who goes around boasting Texas is back and yet they still havnt won a B12 title in many years.

Texas' toughest games are at home with LSU, OU in Dallas, at TCU and maybe Iowa State in Ames and Texas Tech at home to end the regular season.
I don't see Texas losing more than two games and going to a good bowl.....and giving OU another tough battle.

Texas has lost a crazy number of games to the Fighting Gundys of Stoolwater. Maybe not this year but pee wee will drop a couple of games. WS
