Defense - I know it was porous for midt of 2018. However, it did make big plays against UT and UWV to finish regular season. I am optimistic about their impact in 2019 for two reasons. (1) they return 10 starters and (2) the energy and impact a new coordinator might bring to the table. On offense, depending on early departures, we could be fairly decent. I think the redshirt freshman QB from Waco will ultimately win the job, with Rattler maybe taking over later in season. If Kendall surprises, even better. WR and RB rooms are loaded. OL, again depending on departures, will be fine under Coach B. If even one of the libemen stays, they can plug holes around Calcaterra and Humphrey. Gotta find a kicker and punter. Since they aren’t pursuing scholarship replacements, it tells me they have confidence in what’s on campus or may pursue a grad transfer. All in all, if a QB comes through and with 16-17 starters back, we could make a run at 5th championship in a row.
