Tons of Big XII Championship tickets available

I think that's true. But in all the years I've been going to OU football games, and almost always buying tickets at the stadium on game day, the CCG in Jerry World is the only place I've ever bought a counterfeit. And it was by somebody on the staff of the stadium.

So buying in advance became my new M.O. there.

When I buy at the stadium I always buy from someone that is 'attending' the game too but has extra ticket(s). I even ask if they are going. If they say yes, I walk into the stadium w/ them. It's worked for me everytime.

When the guy I bought the counterfeit walked into the employee's entrance 30 seconds after I paid him, I thought I was safe, until the scanner at the entrance refused my ticket.

I'm sure there will be tickets available before the game, but I like to have them in hand before flying or driving to the destination (Norman, Dallas or Arlington).

Are online tickets through reputable brokers like StubHub 100% safe? Has there ever been a problem with counterfeit tickets with an e-ticket purchased through them? Do they issue refunds if you can’t get in at the Gates with a ticket bought from them?

I believe the primary tickets for the conference are all through SEATGEEK.

Secondary could be anywhere, including Stubhub. Both have pricey ticket fees.

I wish this game was played at the Fair Park stadium.
I hate the logistics, parking, sight lines and the rip off that Jerry World is.

Buying from on-line brokers (Seat Geek, Stub Hub, etc) are safe. They sell one counterfeit ticket and they are out of business.
We bought counterfeit in New Orleans in 05(?). I will never buy at an arena again.
