Ticket Scalping

Are people scalping tickets with everything going ticketless could you get one?

You stand a better chance getting in if you dress up as a SJW and peacefully protest yourself into a seat. The days of walking up and getting a cheap ticket may never return, sadly

I don't see how tickets can be transferred in the "aftermarket" with any integrity nowadays. Went to the SEC CCG last December. A friend GAVE me two tix, by emailing me a link to print out a pdf, which I put under a scanner at the turnstile. Not even an attendant present, just security to search you before reaching the scanner and on the other side to keep people from jumping the gate.

I don't see where there would have been anything to stop my friend from sending the link to multiple people, nor do I see anything that would have stopped me from printing multiple copies of the same ticket and selling them on the street (there were in fact people holding up printed emails to sell tix). I didn't go to the NCG, but I did go to NOLA with friends who had tix, which were downloaded to their phones. Not sure where they bought them, but they paid $1,800 for nosebleed, and I'm not really sure how they would have been able to sell them had they needed to do so at the last minute.
