NORMAN - Starting Thursday, the triple option is back at Oklahoma. At least for a short time.
The OU Athletics Department will offer a pair of three-game "Triple Option" football ticket combo packs for the 2015 home season at a price of $225 per seat. The tickets were originally reserved for opponents and returned to OU after going unclaimed.
This may be the only way for fans who don't have season tickets to purchase seats for the West Virginia and TCU games, as tickets for those two contests are expected to sell out during the combo pack promotion.

The "Boomer" combo pack includes tickets to the Akron (Sept. 5), Iowa State (Nov. 7) and TCU (Nov. 21) games. The "Sooner" combo pack includes tickets to the Tulsa (Sept. 19), West Virginia (Oct. 3) and Texas Tech (Oct. 24) contests.
The "Triple Option" combo packs will go on sale Thursday at 8 a.m. CT and can be purchased online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-4668. The sale will conclude July 26 at 11:59 p.m. CT, or when tickets are sold out.
A limited number of tickets in each combo pack are available. Seat locations may vary slightly from game to game.
Fans who purchase combo packs will also be offered the opportunity to move on to the priority list for new season tickets in 2016 when OU unveils the renovated Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium configuration and welcomes Ohio State to Norman.
