Stuff still coming in today and I'll keep adding but there was one interesting note that I thought you all might want to hear.
***A lot of you spent Friday night of last week at the Coppell - Hebron game featuring Oklahoma five-star wide receiver Trejan Bridges. However, it was a Coppell Cowboy that caught the eye of several of my reporter buddies and he has an interesting connection to Oklahoma.
"Coppell has a 6-foot-1, 220-pound tackling machine at linebacker," a source said. "And he's only a freshman."
That player is Walker Polk. To the Oklahoma baseball fans on the board that name and high school may sound familiar as Skip Johnson has a commitment from Hudson Polk of Coppell.
Well, as you may have surmised...the two are brothers.
The younger Polk has the feeling of a future standout and with his connection to the University perhaps Oklahoma could have their first Coppell signee since Bennett Okotcha in 2011.
