UPDATE: 1:53p - I just got word that another elite defender is expected in Norman next month.
This time it is Manor, Texas Rivals100 LB Erick Fowler.
I will try and get more but obviously that is big news for Oklahoma to get the long time LSU commitment in town.
ORIGINAL: Guys, got a tip yesterday that Oklahoma could be bringing in a surprise Rivals100 member in January for an official visit and after having some time to check on it I can confirm that the Sooners, led by Mike Stoops, is bringing in Trophy Club (Texas) Byron Nelson's Brandon Bowen.
He was an early Oklahoma offer, and I think Oklahoma was his first offer, but was always a bit up and down with his interest. He has been so tough to follow that it's possible his visit plans could change half a dozen times between now and then.
But regardless Oklahoma looks set, at this time, to host the No. 4 weakside defensive end in the country.
