Throwback Thursday...

Wow what an incredible cover band! I didn't know they were Russian until I heard them do "Saturday in the Park." Thanks for posting PLV.

Senior Sooner, may I ask why you say Bittersweet? Hope I'm not being too nosy.
Not nosy, at all, SoonerinLA...Most of the OU Players in that game were close friends, and, sadly, most of them are no longer with us...

Most are actually Ukrainian from what I understand... I have a friend who is promoting them... I'll find out... :)

Ok I just connected your post with your handle. I really enjoy your posts here as do many others. I went to OU in the 70s and learned a lot about OUr history from you especially since I am not from Oklahoma. I still hold out hope you will write a book or publish your memoirs someday.

They are indeed based in Moscow... the band is a mix of Russians and Ukrainians... she wouldn't tell me when they are coming to the States, but it is in the works... :)
