Wow... just... wow. If you would've told me on October 12th that the linked press conference would light a fire under this team, I would've thought you were as dumb as Lou Holtz or Mark May. I have never seen that type of leadership work... but it just goes to show how little I know, and how Bob knew EXACTLY what was needed to light a fire.
This is about the 3rd time this year I've eaten crow, and it just tastes better and better.
And no - I have no problem bumping this thread, because it shows how big of a dumbass I was after that press conference.

I posted this in Eddie's "luncheon" thread... but for those of you who haven't seen the video yet --- if this doesn't make you absolutely IRATE, I don't know what will... (fast forward to 4:04 to get pissed beyond reason):

I have NEVER been more irate than I am now after watching that hot pile of garbage!!!! Fast forward to 4:12, where Tramel asks Bob who the blame falls on... Bob's response is what has me so pissed off...
"We (the coaches) did our part... we showed them the 2013 game a 100 times..."
Did he REALLY just say that?? I can't believe it... I never thought he would stoop as low as his namesake. Just a total dick move.
I hate to be the one to inform you, Bob, but you obviously didn't do your part --- you lost the game. Call it execution, "leverage", whatever the hell you want to... but the point is - you most CERTAINLY did not do your part. Whether it be recruiting, development, coaching, motivation, etc... you did not do your part. I've heard some ridiculous answers from Bob over the years, but that one did it in for me. I'm done with any coward who places the blame on kids he BROUGHT TO THE PROGRAM.
After seeing that, I am officially on the "FIRE BOB" bandwagon. I have lost so much respect for him for that response to a very honest question. Wow... I'm done with him.
How can any player still love their coach after hearing a response like that? I want him GONE now. I've been one of his only remaining supporters on this board, but that's just despicable to me.
