They came out of nowhere last season with a bunch of freshmen (4 starting) & amazingly only one starting pitcher who pitched every inning of every game to give the Sooner Nation a surprising National Championship.
In this season's regional only less than 2% of teams since 2005 (7 teams out of 400+ teams) who lose in the first round came back to win that regional
and this OU team with determination did just that.
I truly love this OU softball team and their great head coach Patti Gasso with their talent, drive, and determination and never giving up to win. We are still one of the nation's youngest teams with only one senior starter.
Now we go to a Super Regional on the road with the winner going to the Woman's College World Series.
Lets go kick Auburn's ass.
