Is it legal for the FG kicker to take extra steps towards the ball before the snap like the Dawg kicker did, in OT1 I believe ?

Man it's a great thing we are a legitimate basketball threat in addition to gymnastics and Ladies Softball this year...

I believe it was actually the extra point on the tying touchdown at the end of the fourth quarter, but I was wondering why they weren't flagged for a false start.

It most likely would not have made a difference but that's exactly what I was screaming at the tv...

I wondered the same thing. The announcers noticed it, too, but said nothing about it being a penalty. I thought it was a false start, but I don't know the rule.

It wouldn't have mattered at all. You could back him up 20 yards and he would have still made it with ease
