BOOMER!!!! WOW... I don't think I've ever seen a Stoops' team with that much brass... To come from behind like that in a brutal environment --- this team surprised the heck out of me. Things we learned tonight about OUr team...
1.) defense is significantly improved, especially the secondary
2.) Baker isn't perfect, but he's got guts when it counts
3.) don't ever question Eric Striker when he talks trash before a game; he backs it up just about every time
4.) O-line is still VERY raw and thin, but they improved as the game wore on, and hopefully continue to improve
5.) our receivers still have to improve outside of Shep... But they do look much better than last year
6.) Riley is a gambler... And I love it. Innovative offense that is FAR from a typical Air Raid --- 55% of our plays were running plays; he knows where our primary assets are
7.) this team doesn't quit, even when it's fans do... Something we haven't seen in a couple years.
