Once upon a time OU had a bunch of nasty mean dogs on the defensive side of the ball. I'm not only talking about the great ones like McCoy, Dvoracek, Rocky Calmus, etc. We had dudes like Jimmy Wilkerson, Auston English, Brandon Everage et al that would knock your head off if you came their way. This is absolutely the softest and smallest defense I've seen in my lifetime at OU. This defense is worse than the one last year, at least last year you would get some good play out of them every once in a while, Ohio State for example. This defense hasn't played a good half of football yet this year and Texas was the best offense that we've played so far and they're average at best. They need to go find a few mean MF's out in juco and maybe a couple of others in high school that don't mind tearing your head off in an alley and get an occasional PF for driving a guy all the way through the bench area. Unfortunately, poor MS looked completely lost and befuddled after the game so I doubt we see anything like that happen.
