in all of them, and in the ESPN poll, got their first, first place vote this week.

Overall, Florida is defending two time national champ and top ranked in all the polls. And Michigan is second. But after that, several teams are getting consideration. OU had been third in the RPI, but moved down to 4th after consecutive weeks sweeping teams with low RPI ratings. But moved up to 4th and 5th in the other two polls. Two wins over OSU this weekend ought to guarantee a top eight seeding in the WCWS, which would include hosting the regionals and supers if they make it.

So the two bedlam games are pretty important. The Sooner hitting has been pretty inconsistent since the weekend in Knoxville. But Parker has reached another level, and the defense has become as good as there is in the country. Beating OU in the playoffs will be tough, unless the sticks just don't take care of business.

The OSU game Saturday in Norman will be on in Dallas, according to local listings. But the Friday night game in Stillwater is very unlikely.

If you get FCSC, it is showing that it will televise the game. Starting at 6:00 PM tomorrow.

Yes. And when I signed up for Verizon this time around, the package included all three Fox College Sports channels. But by unilateral decision of Verizon, they just took it away. I complained. They told me, "tough, the contract allows us to do it."

For almost every game, that is only on one of the FCS channels, I can watch the replay at least once the next day on FSN, but not this game. Not sure why.

I really dislike all of the tv providers. I've had Verizon, DirectTV and the biggest of the liars, AT&T. They all mistreat and lie to their customers. But since they all do, not much alternative in choices. I chose this level of package just to get the three FCS channels. Now Verizon is sold in Texas and Frontier is even worse.

If only I could choose the 30 or 40 channels I prefer and let somebody else pay for the liberal promotion junk, I'd love to see who would survive. I suspect the pay of athletes would go down substantially, because the networks and the mouse ears wouldn't have the cash to pay ridiculous rights fees. Maybe the NCAA tournament would go back on broadcast television where it belongs.

One thing I hate about this team. They have to lead the country in leaving the bases loaded. Other than that, there is a lot to love about them. If they do what I think they might, they'll be my favorite all time Sooner softball team. Put up five on OSU in the first. AND left the bases loaded.
