The weather

I was going to message you last week, as you have been on my mind. Now I know why. My heart is broken. Your memory will forever be a blessing. Miss you, already...say hello to daddy for me.

For all my friends who knew him personally or just knew of the man I called my Jewish father. Please keep his family in your prayers.

RIP OBK.
I didn't know him but he was Sooner Brother and sad to hear of his passing.

@opk was a wonderful man & an enormous Sooner fan...as well as a graduate of OUr fair university. This whole getting old thing is for the birds. Oh, and #cancersucks :(

Dam sorry to learn he passed away. He was nearby me in Overland Park. Cancer does suck as does this CoVid crap. Only 2 of my FB friends list got it and survived. Prayers are for the families who didn’t....and OPKS may he Rest In Peace.

I agree, I was called an old man a few weeks ago by someone in their mid 20's and not in a nice way. I could only think of how I wish I could make them understand that it comes up on you fast and not to take your youth for granted but aren't we all told that when we are young?
How many of us really felt the meaning of this song when we were young? I did and the words ring true still today.

Thanks, @kcstorm06
opk was so supportive last year, when I was battling cancer, myself. His battle lasted 5 years...ups & downs, but he always had a positive attitude. I will miss him in so many ways...I already do.
