1“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

I believe Nebraska will have better days ahead, but not like the days it had under Devaney and Osborne. I expect it will be on the same level as Iowa.
I hope I'm wrong and that Nebraska can be elite again.

Living in Nebraska among Cornsucker fans makes a person a little crazy.
Funny watching all the faithful buy up every piece of "Frost Warning" clothing possible before the Akron game. I don't think I've seen anyone wear any of it since the 2nd or 3rd loss LOL.

All the Frost mania has melted away :D

If it was anyone else but the prodigal son, they would already be calling for his head on a pike. As it is, it appears he'll be given quite a long leash.
That, or they've all just given up on ever winning again...

I don't hold any malice for the Huskers leaving the conference. I do think they made a huge mistake when it comes to football and they sure didn't get the academic benefits they thought would follow. I also think they had no clue as to the how the football recruiting landscape had changed and still is changing.

Nebraska's recruiting base in the Big XII was about the same as OU's but with a little more emphasis in the corn belt. They have lost most of their traditional recruiting base. I'm not sure they can ever recover from that loss.

Maybe the coaching change will reap some benefits, but doubt it will happen very quick. My gut tells me that, at best, the Huskers will be just another Iowa. And, that is being mostly a middle of the pack B1G team.

I can almost guarantee that the powers at be at OU are sure smart enough to figure out the best place to be for OU football.

OU's best move is either to the SEC West, or....and this is wishful thinking....staying in the Big 12 if and when two PROMINENT teams can be added, which I don't see happening.
OU needs to stay connected to the state of Texas high school talent. Of the 2019 commitments 8 of the 18 are from Texas, two of which are 5-star prospects. OU needs to keep this pace up, especially given its presence in Texas.
