After watching Clemson, Alabama, Ole Miss et. al., their safeties are so much better than ours it's crazy. Those guys are all big, fast and explosive. They can cover the pass, but the biggest difference I witnessed was how aggressive they are when coming up and making big plays against the run. I can't remember the last time one of our safeties was shot out of a cannon and blew somebody up at the LOS in the run game.
