Alright guys, going to get started here.
It'll be a bit in and out this morning - dealing with the kiddo but around 10 a.m. we'll get going full-fledged until this monster is slain.
Things I'll be watching:
*OL as a whole, lot of missed blocks in both phases in the first three quarters. We'll see how much we can chock up to communication issues and how much is just physical issues. For those unsure? Root for the former. I can't lie though pass pro of the tackles and the combo work of the inside guys are the things I'm really invested in.
*Safety play, I really didn't notice much of Byrd and/or Thomas and want to see if I just missed it or if they were just solid (not noticing a safety can be a good thing more often than not).
*Baker Mayfield, I feel like his numbers were GREATLY skewed due to a few things beyond his control - drops and the penalty that just killed OU on the Mixon catch.
*Matt Dimon vs. Charles Walker...starting to wonder how long OU can keep Walker off first team defense if he keeps playing at this level.
