When the Jhawks scored with a minute to go in austin i thought the impossible was about to happen, and i was so excited and happy i looked around for a stray bottle of champagne to pop. Of course it is kansas we're talking about so naturally they let texass pull it out with a FG as time expired, thus relegating the fizzy pop back to the cabinet. But i can say for absolute certainty i would've danced a jig (after downing the bubbly of course) to have witnessed first-hand another demise of "resurgent" tx football. the outcome would have been the greatest thing to happen to OU football since Bud said, "you think those ww2 vets would like to play football in norman if i throw em a few bucks?". Can't you hear all those recruits sitting at the stadium looking around and saying "i want no part of this sh*t show dad. can i still get an official visit to OU?". So what if it the big 12 looks less mighty or our strength of sched drops a notch, all we gotta do is hold up our end of it. As long as TX continues to flail those recruits that are fence-sitters are gonna lean over to look at our grassy fields and tumble in.

KU qb is sporadic but occasionally hits a streak where he actually looks like a player.

Be careful for what u wish for regarding UTs demise this year - they go down and LSU still has Bama for a marquee matchup...we’ve got freakin Baylor.

Shorthorns are rocks in the tumbler. All shined up and absolutely worthless.

I watched it until the last cow drive; turned it off when there was 12 seconds left and Kansas still had the lead
the mad hatter has asked the big12 to look into the final 1:11 of the texas game. he alleges 2 instances of clock mismanagement by game officials that resulted in some :25 of stopped clock when it should have been running. as iasooner was about to see the cows won on a FG with :04 left. conspiracy? you might as well ask is the earth flat? of course!!

btw it is totally appropriate to stop the tape at the :12 mark iasooner, because as you obviously well now if you don't actually see it then there's a chance (not a good one but a chance nonetheless....see: epistemology) that it won't
