OU drops in power ratings while West Virginia, Texas, Texas Tech and Baylor increase. The sky is not falling, though, after a close win over Army. If you remember, we had the same problem with Air Force about 8 years ago and came away with a narrow 3 pt. win. Here are projections for the rest of the season (from Sagarin):
Baylor -21 (was -26) (The Vegas line just came out at -27!!) (It went to 21.5 then 22.5.)
Texas -7 (was -13) (It looks like the best defense we will face all year.)
@TCU -5
KState -21
@TexT -7 (was -16) (They are scary. The offense is clicking and the defense improving.)
Ok. St. -10
KS -30
W. VA -3 (was -7) (Grier moved ahead of Murray in the Heisman race.)
Hopefully, Lincoln is learning from his mistakes. Running Sermon into the middle of the line on a 4th and 1 yesterday was a bit lame. Murray could have easily outrun the defense on the left. It's good to have Baylor next week for a bit of a breather.
