The Big 12 'Baylor' Rule

Yep, no surprise here.
All day long I've suspected it was Baylor and K-state, taking the line of least resistance that could be behind this, at least in part.

Also, did you notice what Texas is facing...great googly moogly...they better get busy or it's curtains. Wow!
KSU's long past that. I know they had a weak one this year but they had a set with Oregon that fell through at the end. Other than that, in the last 5 years they've had sets with UCLA, Miami, & the back half of a set with Auburn (front was '07, IIRC ), plus they have future sets with Stanford (starting next year) & Mississippi State.

By all means though, bag on Baylor all you want. They are hands DOWN the chief reason for this rule.

If OSU had beaten OU to win the big xii at 11-1, they would not have been in the playoffs because of their non conference schedule. TOSU or Stanford would have jumped them. That's the perception of the league due many playing soft non-conference schedules (especially Baylor) and OSU this year. Then top it off with the absolute worst football team in the power five, Kansas, is a disgrace.
