Thanx for the hospitality...

enjoyed the banter over past weeks.

Love to learn about opponents, feel I should give accurate info in return.

What I posted was dead accurate:

LSU has extreme DBs, could man cover, daring Hurts to beat them w/ his arm, using other personnel to cage him in and pressure him. The huge NG and his bigger back-up jammed the middle, plugging the run and preventing Hurts from stepping up in the pocket. Excellent Hurts and CeeDee made plays but not nearly enuf.

While many worried about Biltnikoff winner Chase, LSU has several top talents at WR. Grinch dbl covered Chase, his stats weren't very much, leaving others, maybe also 1st rd draft choices, in single coverage. WRs are 6'1, 6'3 & 6'4, mismatches for OU short DBs.

Finally, Burrow is an alien. Nobody could develop that, LSU got lucky and caught lightning in a bottle. He cannot do what he does but he keeps doing it. I don't expect to see such performances as he has given ever again in my lifetime, he is on a 15 game rampage that included 7 Top Ten teams.

Good luck to the Sooners (am still a fan since watching Bud's team in person) and please keep beating the sips.

Well I’ve got to say LSU was everything they were billed to be and we looked worse that what we thought we’d be.

You were correct in your pregame analysis I will give you that. However, I will opine that I believe I will be correct in my prediction that LSU fans are going to find next year how accurate and special Burrow truly is. I have seen your fans speculate that LSU won’t see much drop off but I can assure you as a fan of a team with a couple recent Heisman winners and a runner up this year. There’s a huge gap even between our Heisman winners and our runner up this year.

Enjoy while it lasts. I have no idea who will win the Championship game but it should be a good one.

Burrows looked better last night than he should have. He caught OU w a depleted secondary. Having said this he was golden last night and would have beaten our starters as well. Just not as bad.

Thanks for your good sportsmanship!

Reasonable LSU fans should know that a Burrow comes along very rarely. He is not merely a Heisman winner, he won by the biggest margin ever. He is extreme and cannot be replaced, in many ways.

Expect LSU to be Top Ten next season but not in the same area code as this team. Playing bama, @UF, @AU, @Tamu (much improved, Top Ten pre-seson) & UTx (can't imagine them not stepping up) will bring the fans to reality.

Don’t worry about A&M. They are destined to be forever mediocre.

Psy, I told you you were wrong about OU having an 18% chance of winning...they had zero. LSU is ridiculous and OU is at least a year away maybe more from being talented enough for a game like that. Good luck to you, thanks.

Yes Ogre stepped right into a possible championship season much like BGB had but has an even better qb and talent laden qroup than we did Oh so many seasons ago. Maybe Army/Navy has a spare D guru assistant we could poach ?

Thanx for the kind words to an intruder.

That wasn't my number, that was the number by the best there is at predicting. And he keeps on building casinos.

My football knowledge told me to bet on OU taking +430 but then my judgement took over, decided not to buy another brick for Guido.

For the future:

LSU has more bigger/better athletes.
OU has a coach that will develop QB & O.

Next year LR is likely to put out a better team than LSU but Oeaux has been amazing.

OU is #10 Recruiting on 24/7. LR is working on getting them there.
