While my day and night were almost ruined the experience I had today handling the giant US flag on the field; seeing the Black Daggers jump in from low altitude; watch the Army’s silent drill team amaze; talk to scores of soldiers manning nine tactical systems; and watching an appreciative public respond to those same soldiers; OU finally pulled out a win against a surprisingly good Army offense.
So while many of you want Stoops fired; rag on this player or that; and generally had multiple coronaries as OU muffed one defensive play after another, I thank you who attended and treated our troops so well. They were pumped to be there even though it would have been a day off.
