Thank God Tennessee and Army were canceled...

I disagree.....OU's coaches and players do a GREAT job of preparing for a first half, and Lincoln Riley is and absolute brilliant first half offensive coach. The problem is that this team and Riley don't know how to finish off a game in which they are up 3 or more scores. I mean simply have no idea how to keep the foot on the gas and crush the opposition and finish a game. Getting up 24 points seems almost simple at times,,,ending the game is where this bunch falls way short.

frou, dude, come on man... the coaches head over to Campus Corner beginning at halftime and chug liters of alcoholic beverages.

If you interviewed them after they returned it would sound like this...

They, uh, uhhhhhhhhhh, well, uhhhhhhhhhhh, uhhhhhh, we'll just uhhhhh say ummmmm that we "took a break" in the second half. That way we didn't spend next game's energy today. So then we got really sad and think that with another year, Rattler will also be playing all 3 linebacker spots in addition to SS and FS. We'd like to make those transitions this year, but, damn, did you see Kirk Herbstreit crying? I've been crying for three weeks. My white privilege kept me from actively negating my oppression focused whiteness that keeps my Black Players from reachin' their full potential. Speed D!

OK, so what do you disagree with? The competition lasts 4 quarters.

I think Riley is unconfident as a serious head coach due to his age and awkwardness. I think he overcompensates as what he believes a head coach should do in the second half. It's the difference between being the coach that has nothing to lose and being the coach that shouldn't lose. He's not confident in himself.

He got all Woke but is really Sleepwalking.
I didn't like the Riley hire as HC when Stoops retired then warmed up to it. Now I am back to not liking it very much. Not just after this game but pretty much ever since the Georgia meltdown in the playoffs. I have seen too many of these types of games from OU with Riley at the helm. Its piss poor coaching and piss poor leadership. That should have been a blowout win today yet it was for K State in the second half.
Still not sold on Grinch yet. I think he is in over his head, Riley may be as well.

Switzer was 37, Stoops 38, when they started at OU. Same age as Riley.
