For all the valid criticism about some of OU's recruiting efforts, you have to give OU's staff props for how effectively they used their gameday weekend visits in the fall. It didn't lead to immediate commitments but OU's recruiting message was effectively relayed. OU made an impact. OU executed the weekend at a high level.
The following 6 HS kids were all uncommitted heading into the TCU game.
1. Abdul Adams - committed
2. Velus Jones - committed
3. Marcel Southall - taking visits but OU had a lead according to most sites - Josh M included.
4. Chris Daniels - was committed.
5. Caleb Kelly - down to OU and ND. I really think OU wins out in the end.
6. Elysee Mbem-Bosse - was going to commit to OU, now???
OU could have easily gone 6 for 6 with this high end group of kids.
