Stoops being paid 325,000 as IC

I just think it was cool he turned it down twice.
But they stopped asking and are paying him anyway.
"This payment is being added on to his salary he had in his retirement, which is also $325,000, since he was still on the payroll as the Special Assistant to the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Programs and Director of Athletics."

$325k is a lot of money to people that have a lot of money.
Its much easier to turn down $325k if you already have millions. Kinda reminds me of a small college president where I used to work. He would turn down an annual 5k raise and try to act like it was some kind of heroic act. $325k is a lot of money, but relatively speaking its pocket change to someone like Stoops. Like I said, he could donate it to the program.
