I'm gonna do the same thing for the offensive side as well... but I was curious to see how good Clemson's defense really has been this year vs how good our defense has been. Has Clemson REALLY been that dominant defensively? Or have their opponents just sucked horribly on offense?

Oklahoma's defensive ranks...
Total Defense (ypg): 31st (351)
Scoring Defense (ppg allowed): 21st (20.8)
Passing Defense (ypg): 34th (201.5)
Rushing Defense (ypg): 46th (149.2)
Passing Efficiency Defense (passer rating): 12th (108.0)
Rushing Yards Per Carry (ypc): 26th (3.6)

Clemson's defensive ranks...
Total Defense (ypg): 7th (296)
Scoring Defense (ppg allowed): 18th (20.2)
Passing Defense (ypg): 5th (166.9)
Rushing Defense (ypg): 23rd (128.8)
Passing Efficiency Defense (passer rating): 7th (102.2)
Rushing Yards Per Carry (ypc): 30th (3.7)

So no doubt... Clemson's defense looks completely DOMINANT just going by the rankings.

Now let's take a look at their opponents OFFENSIVE rankings...

Okay... so if you didn't read all that mess... I'll simplify it for you.

The combined offensive rankings AVERAGE of their opponents...

Oklahoma's opponents ranking average... (I rounded up at .5 and higher)
Total Offense (ypg): 49th
Scoring Offense (ppg): 48th
Passing Offense (ypg): 54th
Rushing Offense (ypg): 50th
Passing Efficiency: 60th
Rushing Yards Per Carry: 61st

Clemson's opponents ranking average... (I rounded up at .5 and higher)
Total Offense (ypg): 70th
Scoring Offense (ppg): 64th
Passing Offense (ypg): 72nd
Rushing Offense (ypg): 59th
Passing Efficiency: 62nd
Rushing Yards Per Carry: 51st

So what can we gather? The following...

Clemson's opponents ranked an average of a whopping 21 spots lower in Total Offensive YPG than Oklahoma's opponents. Scoring offense wasn't much better as Clemson's opponents ranked an average of 16 spots lower than Oklahoma's opponents. The thing that I couldn't even factor in? Clemson's awful FCS opponent, which finished a measly 5-6 in the FCS, and would only have done MUCH worse at the FBS level... so Clemson's opponents offensively were mostly terrible, outside of App State, Notre Dame, and North Carolina.

Food for thought... enjoy.
