Too many people are complaining about the state of our program. We just finished an 11-2 season winning the Big 12 championship and going to the playoff. We got beat by the #1 team in the country.
The guys on the team, both players and coaches, gave everything they had this season. Nobody expected a run like this, especially after the Texas game. Sure, we got lucky with some injuries to QBs, but that's part of the game.
Look at power programs like USC, Penn St, Georgia, and Auburn who are struggling mightily to bring their teams back into the national running again. Castiglione and Stoops have done a fantastic job positioning us for success in the future with great coaching hires, facility upgrades, and fantastic scheduling and heightened recruiting.
