@Josh_M:
I think that this could end up being wildly varied in how it could end up. I think you have to start off with the point that it's really hard to see a way that Army can keep up with Oklahoma offensively, even if they are having success on the ground.
The issue with that is Oklahoma's run defense has been one of the true strengths of that defense so far and with the athletes they currently have at linebacker they seem well positioned to deal with Army's attack even if, obviously, there will be creases and moments when Army catches Oklahoma out of alignment.
I would expect a really big day from both Ryan Jones and Mark Jackson as they will be key to Oklahoma keeping leverage on the outside. But maybe the two most key players for the game will be Neville Gallimore and Kenneth Murray who are going to be hugely important in dealing with armies quick runs with the fullback.
I expect a huge day from Kyler Murray and Marquise Brown as those are two athletes that Army just can't physically deal with.

After all the respect, after all the pageantry, it’s still a football game. And Oklahoma should still be around 30 points better than Army.
The conditions won’t be ideal, so this game isn’t really about style points. Just get through it healthy and then start preparing for the grind of the Big 12 season.
A telling stat would be if OU’s defense can keep Army off the field. Obviously, the Black Knights want to hold onto the ball as long as possible to shorten the game. If the Sooners can improve their atrocious tackling (at times) last weekend in Ames, then this could get out of hand in a hurry.
What to watch, really, is the offensive line. Bill Bedenbaugh didn’t mince his words by naming redshirt freshman Creed Humphrey the starting center this week, and now the quintet can start to truly build some chemistry and become a cohesive unit.
This should be a night tailor-made for running back Trey Sermon. He had to adjust to the heat, to starting last week. It’s going to be a beautiful night for a rushing attack, and Sermon should find the end zone a couple of times and top 100 yards for the first time this season.
Army is known for its running game and triple-option attack, but don’t be surprised to see the Black Knights test OU’s secondary at weird times. The question will be whether Parnell Motley and the rest of that group can be alert the whole time and not let one get away?
It won’t be pretty. But it will be a victory. Sooners improve to 4-0 and get ready for a pretty big recruiting weekend vs. Baylor next week
OU 38, Army 10.

Have we had fun? Did we get it all out of our system? What am I talking about? The meltdown that ensued during and after a double-digit conference road win, of course. What would OU football be without it though? Right on schedule, in my opinion. Things were going too well for the bitch and moan contingent. I get it. Might even dig it. That's the life of biznas at a blueblood program. Excllence is expected.
If you're looking at Saturday's match-up as an opportunity to learn more about Oklahoma I would advise you to pump the breaks. Sure the match-up is fun. But lets remember Oklahoma is just north of a four touchdown favorite. Hell anything actually learned would likely be of the 'bad' variety. Taking care of the fundamentals would be a nice positive though after a 12-missed tackle performance in Ames.
Expect Oklahoma to start fast and make this one comfortable well before the student section heads out at halftime. Enjoy a beautiful Saturday evening under the lights (!!!!), yes that's still a thing.
