@BPrzybylo - It’s time. Blow up the scoreboard. You thought 54-51 between the Rams and Chiefs was something, Big 12 is here to show you how a real shootout goes down.
Because it’s going to be one in Morgantown between Oklahoma and West Virginia. There are zero signs of the Sooners defense rallying for one night. WVU defense has let it down time and time again. Just sit back and enjoy the show.
The Sooners win this game if they get one turnover. It could be a blowout if OU can get two or three, but when you have eight in 11 games, let’s not get too crazy.
This is the Heisman stage for OU’s Kyler Murray. Friday night, national audience, winner goes to the Big 12 championship. Really cannot ask for much more than that.
Of all the weapons the Sooners have, the biggest questions are regarding the health of running back Trey Sermon and defensive tackle Neville Gallimore.
Kennedy Brooks was able to shoulder the load one week, not sure if OU can get by going that route in back-to-back games. And even if you don’t believe Gallimore is a pure difference maker, watching what OU did vs. Kansas is enough to know he’s at least a vital part.
It’s time for scoring, and a whole bunch of it. Don’t be surprised if OU has two receivers with more than 100 yards and if Murray accounts for five or more total touchdowns. It’s going to have to be one of those nights.
Give Parnell Motley his fourth interception of the season and give OU a berth in Arlington next weekend. OU 66, West Virginia 62.
@Eddie_Rado - It’s not that I don’t think OU can’t win in Morgantown. It’s more of the fact that if you play with fire you’re bound to be burned. And burned the Sooners defense will this evening.
Fortunately, Kyler Murray and the Oklahoma offense can keep them in just about any situation.
Too much Will Grier. Too much David Sills. Poor Tre Norwood.

@Josh_M - Wow, these guys are predicting a shootout, that's just nuts.
Ha, no seriously, I'm just not sure if Bob is being modest or if Eddie is giving into his inner demons - as it pertains to 153-points to being scored, not who is actually being picked.
So they've left it to me to decide who will push the needle one way or another.
As I came into Under the Hood this week I really thought I'd find some things more redeeming on the West Virginia defense and in the end? I just didn't. David Long is an absolute star at the college level but the Mountaineers smallish front seven against Oklahoma's massive and athletic offensive line? That's going to be a really tough matchup for the fighting Holgos to win.
I think you've got two fairly pitted matchups with the gap between Oklahoma's offense and West Virginia's defense being similar to their two opposite units.
For me in games like this, when things are so close in so many ways, I think the best player on the field is usually the deciding factor. And as good as Will Grier is Kyler Murray is the best player in the country and what's going to surprise Murray who has spent pretty much the past month in one shootout after another? I mean he 'has to score on this drive'? Is there something unusual about that in his recent past?
I'm going with two sacks tonight for Curtis Bolton and the Sooners to win the turnover margin - and those two realities being the difference.
