While our special teams have not been bad, I assumed that Beamer would have elevated our performance to a higher level than it is. We had one blocked punt in the first game and a couple of big kick off returns early on, but nothing really good within the last few games. I was wondering what Beamer's role is and how much input he has on special teams? TCU (I know Turpin is good) had both a big kick off return and punt return (actually a couple). But we knew he was good going in, and yet we let him hurt us big time.
