Guys,
I've spent a lot of time today kind of coming up with a plan to implement our new statistics and analytics partnership with Pro Football Focus. We'll be able to bring you some interesting stats throughout the season and to be honest, I'm still figuring out how interesting some of the stats are.
For instance. I can give you the grades on the starting offensive line as far as Pro Football Focus grades out each player on each and every play.
Bobby Evans - No. 1 overall starting OL with a 72.9 overall grade. He played 69 snaps overall (39 pass blocks, 30 run blocks). He graded out at 84.6 in pass blocking situations and 65.3 in run blocking situations. He did not have a penalty .
Cody Ford - No. 2 overall starting OL with a 69.5 overall grade. He played 69 snaps overall (39 pass, 30 run). He graded out at 82.2 in pass blocking situations and 61.4 in run blocking situations.
Dru Samia - No. 3 overall starting OL with a 61.2 overall grade. He played 69 snaps overall (39 pass, 30 run). He graded out at 74.8 in pass blocking situations and 57.3 in run blocking situations. He did have one penalty during the game.
Ben Powers - No. 4 overall starting OL with a 57.0 overall grade. He played 69 snaps overall (39 pass, 30 run). He graded out at 81.9 in pass blocking situation and 50.2 in run blocking situations.
Creed Humphrey - No. 5 overall starting OL with a 56.5 overall grade. he played 69 snaps overall (39 pass, 30 run). He graded out 84.3 in pass blocking situations which was second to only Bobby Evans. He also graded out 53.6 in run blocking situations. He did receive a penalty during the game.
