Perhaps I'm just a delusional sports fan, and perhaps I answered my own question, but given their track record in the last 3 years, and the fact they have a new coach, how in the world does texas still get #23?
All valid points, but I hardly think one question qualifies as a "fixation" on the matter. There is no reason to have a fixation on where Texas and Oklahoma State are ranked every year....or even OU, for that matter.
Two reasons why:
All three teams haven't played up to expectations in recent years and winning the Big 12 championship is not that big of a deal as it once was.
I do not believe OU should be ranked number 7 at this time, mainly because of the loss of three players....franchise players.....who comprised 40 % of OU's offense a year ago.
There have been numerous comments on other threads here about where Texas and Oklahoma State are ranked. All valid points, but I hardly think one question qualifies as a "fixation" on the matter.
Not that I've paid any attention to, but whatever. I suppose taking care of business on the field will settle any of those issues. There have been numerous comments on other threads here about where Texas and Oklahoma State are ranked.
