BREAKING: OU football: Sooners, Baylor both rise in playoff rankings

Oklahoma rose to No. 7 in the College Football Playoff committee rankings released Tuesday night, and Oklahoma State stayed at No. 21.
But the big news was that Baylor rose to No. 9, after being ranked No. 14 last week. That gives the Sooners a much bigger target in the December 7 Big 12 Championship Game in Arlington, Texas.
OU finishes the regular season with Bedlam on Saturday in Stillwater, giving the Sooners a chance at back-to-back victories over top-25 teams, including a top-10 team.
