Technically the games played on 9/2/2017 fall within Week 1 of the 2017 college football season. None of the teams that played this past Saturday will be playing this coming Saturday. Go to ESPN and use links to find "Week 1 Schedule." You will find all games on 9/2 encompassed within the Week 1 schedule.

Technically you might be correct. But for the Survivor Poll purposes the 1st week was last Saturday's games & next Thursdays games so that is what we are using.

Larwilli pointed out BYU had a game last Saturday and has its second game next Saturday Sept. 2.
September 2 games are in our pool's week 2.

I have never heard of a team having two games in a so called week one. BYU has a Saturday game November 26 & a game in the following Saturday September 2.

I say BYU had a game Saturday August 26 in week one and
BYU has a game Saturday September 2nd in Week two. .

JConXtsy my friend I think those schedules you showed just show upcoming games some in week one and some in week two. A single week does not have two Saturdays in it.

Well our 1st week in the Survivor pool are all games played on Saturday August 26 and all games played on Thursday August 31st.

Games on September 1 begins our second week in the Survivor pool to all games on September 4th. There are 70 games from September 1 to September 4th. These 70 games are in our Week 2 of our survivor pool
