Sooner men rally to beat Frogs, Horn lose again

OU came back from a 6-point half-time deficit to scratch out a 76-74 win in LNC today over TCU. The win moves OU back to .500 in conference play. Sadly UT could not hold home court against taco tech in the horns' conference showdown today in austin...texass now losing for the 6th time this year. OUr counterparts on the longhorn board are screaming for a shaka smart shake-down

I liked the half time adjustments. OU came out fierce on the boards and the defense played lights out. I thought our free throws were going to cost us the game down the stretch. We missed something like 5 or 6 in a row when we were down by 1 or 2 points. TCU & TTECH are both good teams.

Very nice win for the Sooners. Although TCU scored 74, I like the defense this squad is playing well and they also played strong D in their game vs. Tech earlier in the week.

Their 2 conferences losses are both by 7 points on the road to the top 2 teams in conference. It won't be easy but a 3rd place finish is very possible as long they get better as the season progresses. I don't see this team falling off a cliff ala last year. They're scrappy and play hard. It's ugly sometimes offensively but I like the direction.

On the flip side, what has happened to Coale's lady Sooners? Wow I'm shocked at how much they are struggling.

it's been a long slow slide toward mediocrity. they haven't been relevant in many years. suppose joe is loyal to her for past success but...
