Sooner and Big XII Predictions

Give me at least 3 predictions regarding the Sooners or any Big XII team for the upcoming season.

1. Mark Andrews has at least 12 receiving TDs.

2. Obo, Gallimore and Ward will wreak havoc in the backfield in ways we haven't seen in a while.

3. Kansas does not dwell in the cellar.

1) OU defense finally reclaims its knack for forcing turnovers. Much better Oko is the defensive player of the year.

2) OU dominates little snot nosed brother and pounds the shorthorns.

3) Shorthorns lose a close one against the blowjans and then stumble on from there.

1. OU makes the final 4 and wins it all as an undefeated team
2. Our defense is great
3. Kyler Murray shows his explosion in several games.
4. Baker Mayfield and Mark Andrews and Caleb Kelly are 1st team all Americans.
5. Lincoln Riley is the National coach of the year.
6. OU controls the Sooner, Ohio State game

I am afraid to say anything good with regards to how OU's season will go as it always bites me in the rear.
Been bit by the hype too many times so I will say we will win a few games and instead I will jinx someone else , texass wins the Big 12,11, 10 and goes on to the playoffs and wins the National Title. There, texass will suffer for sure now.

Agree. OU has been shown to fall short of lofty preseason levels historically.
This team in 2017 can be a 4-loss team, or can have its talented but inexperienced young players and newcomers become quick contributors and put together at least a 1 or 2 loss season.
So much will be answered by September 9th against Ohio State. A close well-played game by OU, win or lose, would bode well for the long range success of Riley's first team.

I think OU has 2 losses. Losing badly to Ohio state and someone sneaks up on us in conference.

I'm confident that, even if we don't get the W, our showing in Columbus will be much greater than last year's. That's not to say that I believe last year's loss was due to a lack off effort. I just felt like Bob's tendency to keep things to vanilla early had bitten us before, and could have been a contributing factor in early losses to Houston and the Nuts.

It may appear classless, but we need to get the youngsters as much experience against UTEP as possible. And I don't mean 3rd string youngsters. I mean starters and expected 2nd string rotators.
