Player of the Year: Shelbey Pendley
Pendley became the third Oklahoma player in four seasons to earn Big 12 Player of the Year honors. She started in all 48 games in which she appeared and recorded 61 hits in 140 plate appearances. Pendley is also tied for fifth in the nation with 24 home runs this season while being tied for the lowest number of games played in the top-five of the home run leaderboard.
Pitcher of the Year: Paige Parker
Parker, the Big 12 Pitcher and co-Freshman of the Year, becomes only the third player in NCAA history to throw four perfect games in a season. The Independence (MO) native made 36 starts this season and struck out 199 batters. She also led the Big 12 with a 1.45 ERA and held batters to a league low .170 batting average.
