Here are a few thoughts:
Clemson QB Watson is very, very good. Poised, accurate, mobile. He'll be a handful. If Mike Stoops can limit his ability to make big plays, OU has a great chance to win!
The talent around Watson? Pretty average. Well, let me clarify. The Sooners skill position talent compared to Clemson gives OU (and Mayfield) a big edge, IMO.
The Clemson defense? Tough against the run. But they don't have a big pass rush and their secondary leaves a lot of room for receivers to roam. I think if the Sooners take the same approach they had against OSU -- to come out passing and later wear them down with the run -- OU can score a lot of points and give the Clemson defense fits.
Also, for the Sooners, having Mixon and Perine on the field at the same time as much as possible would be a good move. Specifically, getting Mixon a lot of touches should be a priority. He's been so under utilized this year. Against OSU, he was lethal.
I like the Sooners. Especially after watching Clemson/Notre Dame.
