Texas had their big recruiting weekend about 2-3 weeks ago. Many of the players committed on that weekend to Strong. He asked them to keep it to themselves and publicly commit on signing day. Therefore, 9 4 star commits in 24 hours. Great plan if true. Because everyone (message boards, ESPN, recruiting sites) was talking about Texas and Strong yesterday and today. Great marketing tool for their program. All of a sudden people aren't focused on their 5-7 season.
