Mostly I'm glad I no longer live around Arky fans. But today would be a glorious day!!! I txted a few of my Arky buddies and that were pissed pretty quickly and stop responding. I'm sure they still go around claiming they would go undefeated every year if they were in the Big XII. The vast majority of the Arky fans I ever encountered were just insufferable!!! Most delusional fans in the country. I've never encountered any other fan base that is remotely close.
I've lived in OK, TX, NC, AL, MS, KY, KS, and Ark, not to mention the foreign assignments. I enjoyed every place I've ever lived, EXCEPT Arkansas.... and it had little to do with their delusional fans. There's something that's just "off" about those people. 'twas a miserable year.
Living here is not that bad, I live in a nice city in a nice neighborhood that has 4 Sooner Flags flying in it. Noticed my new neighbor that just built a house on the hill across the street had an ohio state flag hanging off their balcony today, lol. Knew I did not like them.
Piggie fans are harmless, just delusional. They honestly believe they are an elite program and they hate OU for some mysterious reason. I went to get some beer before the start of the OU game and the lady that works there asked me the score of the game? I asked her what game and she said the Razorback game. I pointed to the OU on my hat and said I am an OU fan and I am not watching the arkansas game. She says pffffffftttt and rings me up. Lol
They are in full meltdown mode tonight. All I will say about them tonight, let them eat cake. I am going to enjoy a big Sooner Victory!

I also live here and have since 1988 and actually love the state. It has a lot of beauty to offer with the Ozarks and all. Its not Colorado or Germany but it still has its good.
As for the fans I understand most peoples feelings towards them as they can be a bit of a pain in the ass in nature . They live through the eyes of the SEC does snd actually believe if a team from the conference wins a NC they do too. Now not all do as some are really great intelligent fans.
The loss to TCU yesterday is devistating to many as after all it was to a B12 team that many of them look down upon. I mean how could a mighty SEC team lose to a lowley B12 team?
Once you get past the ignorant fan base though I love Arkansas and its people.

I was convinced she was going to run again. But after hearing that in her book she is pretty much throwing everyone under the bus for her loss, I dunno if the Dems would back her. Her book is pretty much nothing but a huge "bridge burner" as she throws blame at everyone but herself.

#81 has to be on old Billy: he was the slickest pol since Reagan. If he wasn't so frail and defunct, HE may have delivered the office to him/her. It was obvious he's lost his mojo throughout the campaign.
