The question for the board is should the NFL begin to supplement payments to the college football programs to pay the players? It seems like the NFL is getting a free ride on this deal. It’s an unrecognized farm system. It would seem like the NFL should at least give $1 billion a year to the universities to pay these players. Any thoughts?

I like the idea...all NFL teams pony up and college teams be given money based on whether they are power 5 versus the others.

This, along with a cap on the amount of money any one player can receive during a given year, would go a long way to bringing parity to NIL mess...

I think it's a bad idea. If there were any influeance that the money would have, and it always would, them the league which owes us no favors would affect things negatively. I especially want Jerry Jones to stay the hell out of our game. He would create influence. And so would other owners.
